- 這組詞都有命令的意思。其區別是:
- 1.order和bid是及物動詞,而command和tell既可作及物動詞,又可作不及物動詞。
- 2.order和command一般指上級命令下級; command是權力用語,更強調下命令的人有權威,特別指軍官命令士兵; 而order卻可以指某個人對他人下命令,如醫生囑咐病人; tell則多用于日常情況,“吩咐”的意味往往大于“命令”。
- 3.bid態度并不十分強制; command卻有“強迫”“命令”“必須服從”的意味; order語氣比command弱,不那么正式; tell的語氣則更弱。
- 4.跟動詞不定式的復合結構時, bid多不帶to,而command和order則須保留to。
