- 1.abandon的賓語可以是對其負有權利和義務的人(朋友、妻室兒女等)、物或事物(計劃、希望、意見、職業等),例如:

- desert的賓語主要是職責或應盡的義務; forsake的賓語可以是某種宗教信仰或愛好等,也可以是某人曾經一度愛慕或依戀過的人或物。例如:
- She forsook her worldly possessions to devote herself to the church.她拋棄所有而獻身教會。
- 2.leave為普通用語,表示一般的“離開”,與off搭配時表示“放棄”,例如:
