- 這五個詞都可用來表示甲乙雙方在某些方面很相似,有“一致”或“相符合”的意思。其區別是:
- 1.square強調兩者之間完全一致,準確無誤。
- 2.conform指在外形上或思想方法上互相“一致”,也可指一個人的言行應“符合”“遵守”“適應”一般所能接受的準則、規范、習慣等,其后常接介詞to和with。例如:
- Anarchy does not conform to the interests or wishes of the people.無政府狀態不符合人民的利益和愿望。
- You must conform yourself to the custom of the land.你必須遵從這個國家的習俗。
- Every home should have a fire extinguisher which conforms with British Standards.每家每戶都必須備有一只符合英國標準的滅火器。
